EMBODI (Empowering Males To Build Opportunities For Developing Independence)

Mar 18, 2023 | News | 0 comments

EMBODI was offered by the Chester (PA) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc and provided service learning and civil engagement to young men. Chris Clark Jr. presented CASEN (Collaborative Advancement for Social-Emotional Needs) Outreach to a group of young men ages 11-17 years of age. CASEN Outreach provides lessons, videos, and other resources, via the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General and other platforms to demonstrate the significance and dangers that inappropriate behavior on social media can cause. Students were taught about different types of bullying, including cyberbullying.

Chris spoke with the young men about the dangers of social media, the importance of having a good digital footprint, and what it means to be a digital citizen. The boys were engaged and they really enjoyed this discussion.
